Abutia Kloe, April 21, 2025 – The Abutia Kloe Clinic has marked a significant milestone in improving healthcare delivery with the official commissioning and handover of a mechanized borehole project. This monumental achievement brings to an end decades of crippling water scarcity that had severely impacted the clinic’s operations, jeopardizing the health and well-being of the community.
The project was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Promasidor Ghana Ltd., World Vision Ghana, and generous individuals including Horlali Yaw Haligah, Gideon Kodo, Jerome Eli Bediako, Edward Opoku Asante, and Fred Kofi Elorm Buatsi.
The borehole will provide a reliable source of clean water, empowering healthcare workers to deliver quality services and enhancing the overall well-being of the community. This achievement is a testament to the power of partnership and collective action towards achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3, Goal 6, and Goal 17.
Representatives from the Ho West District Health Directorate praised the gesture, highlighting water’s critical role in healthcare, and called for continued support for the facility.
