PRESIDENTIAL INSPECTORS & COCONUT FEDERATION GHANA RECOGNIZE TOGBE DUNENYO’S FARMING EXCELLENCE
In a significant show of support for local entrepreneurship and job creation, inspectors from the Office of the President and the Coconut Federation Ghana recently visited Togbe Dunenyo Coconut Farms in Avatime Biakpa, Ho West District, Volta Region.
The team was impressed by the farm’s diverse operations, which include coconut, cocoa, maize, avocado, palm, soursoup, cassava, and mango cultivation. What’s more, the farm has a nursery site which is nurturing these crops for future expansion.
But what truly caught the inspectors’ attention was the farm’s commitment to empowering local youth. By employing 15 young people from Avatime Biakpa and providing them with regular monthly payments, Togbe Dunenyo Farms is making a tangible impact on reducing unemployment in the area.
The Farm Manager, Mr. Steve Lucky Amrago, was commended for his dedication, and Togbe Dunenyo, the farm’s owner, was thanked for his visionary approach to agriculture and community development.
This visit not only recognizes Togbe Dunenyo Farms’ achievements but also underscores the importance of supporting local initiatives that drive economic growth and youth empowerment. Kudos to Togbe Dunenyo and his team for setting an inspiring example!
